Icon 'Surfspec' Ski

The 'Surfspec' ski is primarily used for the sport of Surf Life Saving. Although not as fast as the Long Distance Ski, it is also used by many paddlers for Long Distance events as well. The 'Surfspec' ski design is based on the criteria set in the ILS (International Life Saving) rules.

Specifications

Custom Made To Measure Ski: The 'Surfspec' ski can be made to measure by sitting the paddler in our measuring jig to ensure optimum paddling position. If on site measurement isn't possible, alternative arrangements can be made.

Adjustable Leg Length Ski: The adjustable 'Surfspec' ski can be altered by up to 6 inches in leg length. This is an ideal option as a club ski or for the paddler who is still growing. Please see the gallery pictures.

Construction

Standard construction is an all glass laminate. For a higher performance ski, we do offer a carbon kevlar construction. This provides a more rigid hull enabling it to cut through the water more efficiently, thus providing an added advantage for the performance paddler (Laminate construction may change as manufacturer sees fit).

Artwork

Artwork for the 'Surfspec' ski can take three different forms:

1. Part of gel coat construction (no added cost if kept simple).
2. Transfers applied after ski has been made (price on application).
3. Sprayed artwork after ski has been made (price on application).
